Maths Jumper Times Tables Adventure

PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: July 2026  ·  Effective immediately

The short version

Maths Jumper does not collect your name, email address, location, or any personal information. All game progress is saved locally on your device only. We do not serve ads, track you across apps, or sell any data. Ever. The app includes one optional, one-off in-app purchase to unlock the full game; all payment processing is handled entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store — we never see your payment details.

📖

1. Introduction

Maths Jumper ("the App", "we", "us") is a children's educational game, published by Jonathan Coles, designed to help players practise their times tables. This Privacy Policy describes how the App handles information when you use it.

We are committed to protecting the privacy of all players, especially children. This policy complies with the Google Play Developer Program Policies, the Apple App Store Review Guidelines, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the UK Children's Code (Age Appropriate Design Code), and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

By downloading or playing Maths Jumper, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal data. Maths Jumper plays fully offline and stores all game information locally on your device. The only time the App uses the internet is to verify an optional in-app purchase (see Section 4).

The following data is saved only on your device using your device's local storage, and is never transmitted to us or any third party:

This data exists solely on your device. Uninstalling the app or clearing app data will permanently remove it. We have no access to it.

We do not collect:

The one exception is the anonymous purchase-verification request described in Section 4, which happens only if a grown-up makes or restores the optional purchase. As with any internet request, the receiving servers briefly process the requesting IP address to return a response; it is not used to identify or profile you.

👶

3. Children's Privacy

Maths Jumper is directed at children under the age of 13 and is designed to be safe for use by children of all ages. We take children's privacy extremely seriously.

This App fully complies with COPPA and is suitable for use by children without parental supervision from a data-privacy standpoint.

🌐

4. Offline Operation & Third Parties

Maths Jumper is a self-contained application. Every game asset — images, sounds, videos, and fonts — is bundled inside the App and loaded from your device's local storage. During gameplay the App does not download content from, or send any information to, any external server, including ours. The sole exception is the optional purchase-verification request described below.

During normal gameplay the App contacts no outside servers — no third party receives your IP address, device information, or any other data as a result of playing Maths Jumper. The only exception is the purchase-verification request described below, which only occurs when you initiate, complete, or restore a purchase.

We do not use, integrate, embed, or share data with any of the following:

In-app purchase verification (RevenueCat): The full-game unlock is verified using RevenueCat, a third-party purchase-verification service. When you make or restore a purchase, RevenueCat confirms with Google Play or the Apple App Store that the transaction is valid. RevenueCat receives an anonymous installation identifier and the purchase receipt; it does not receive your name, email address, payment details, or any personal information. Your payment is processed entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store — neither we nor RevenueCat ever handle your payment card details. RevenueCat’s privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy.

🔒

5. Data Storage & Security

All game data is stored locally on the user's device using the device's built-in storage mechanisms. This data:

Because we collect no personal data, there is no personal data for us to protect, breach, or lose.

🗑️

How to Delete Your Data

Maths Jumper is published by Jonathan Coles. We hold almost no data about you, but here is exactly how to remove what little exists:

Your game progress (stars, stage progress, mastered facts, settings) is stored only on your device. To delete it, either clear the app's data in your device settings, or uninstall the app. This removes it permanently. We never receive this data, so there is nothing for us to delete on our side.

Your purchase record. If you buy the optional full-game unlock, our purchase-verification provider (RevenueCat) stores an anonymous record — a randomly generated app identifier and the Google Play purchase token — so the purchase can be restored later. This record contains no name, email, or payment details. To have it deleted, email us at support@mathsjumper.com and we will delete your purchase-verification record. Please note that once deleted, the purchase can no longer be automatically restored on a new device.

In short: game data — clear the app's data or uninstall to delete it yourself. Purchase records — email support@mathsjumper.com and we will delete them for you.
📱

6. App Permissions

Maths Jumper requests only the minimal permissions needed for gameplay:

Apart from the purchase permissions above, the App requests nothing else. It does not request permissions for:

The App also includes the permissions needed for the optional in-app purchase:

Maths Jumper is packaged with the Capacitor framework. The App's internet access is used solely for purchase verification as described in Section 4 — never to collect, transmit, or share personal data, and never for advertising or analytics. All game content is loaded locally from the device.
🚫

7. Advertising

Maths Jumper contains no advertising of any kind. We do not:

On Google Play, the App’s listing is marked Ads: No and In-app purchases: Yes (one optional one-off unlock). The Data Safety section discloses that an anonymous purchase token is shared with RevenueCat solely for transaction verification; no personal data is collected or shared. On the Apple App Store, the App’s privacy nutrition label reflects the same.
⚖️

8. Your Rights

Under applicable privacy law (including GDPR and the UK Data Protection Act 2018), individuals have rights regarding their personal data. Because we hold no personal data about you, most of these rights are satisfied by default.

However, you have the right to:

Residents of California may also have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). As we collect no personal information, we do not sell personal information, and no opt-out is required.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make any material changes — particularly those that affect how data is collected or used — we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify users through the App or the Google Play and Apple App Store listings.

We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.

The current version of this policy is always available at https://mathsjumper.com/privacy-policy.html, linked from the App's Google Play and Apple App Store listings and within the App's Settings screen.

This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
