Ten of their own facts a day, a game for two, and practice that mirrors the Year 4 multiplication tables check, all in one calm, colourful game.
Here's exactly how a question looks in the game. Tap an answer — or switch to Type and use the number pad.
Four simple ideas, each shown here in the game itself.
An optional ten-question warm-up, "Show what I know", puts your child on the right table to start.

Quick Play gives your child ten of their own facts each day. The ones they find tricky come back sooner, until they stick. It is never timed.
The game chooses them from your child's own answers, mixed with a few easier ones.
A fact that was missed comes back the next day. One that went well waits a little longer each time.
A fact counts as mastered after 3 right-first-time answers averaging under 5 seconds.
Quick Play is free on the 1×, 2×, 5× and 10× tables. The full game covers all 12.
Tag turns times tables into a game for two. Take it in turns up a times table, tap TAG! and pass the device over.
From 1× to 12×, each table has its own catchy song. A buddy hops along the leap line as every answer is sung, so children see the pattern while they hear it.

Example — this is how a question looks in the game
Some children — including many autistic children and others who are sensitive to noise, motion, or time pressure — do their best thinking when the environment around them is calm and predictable. That's why we built Calm Mode.
Switch it on in Settings and it's the same maths game underneath — just without anything that might overwhelm a child who needs things to stay calm and consistent.
"We added Calm Mode after thinking hard about what 'kid-friendly' really means for every child — including children who find timers, buzzing, and bright motion overwhelming rather than fun."
With Calm Mode on, the countdown is switched off on Stages 1–4, so children answer at their own pace, and there are no flashing timer alerts.
A calmer, steadier screen with far fewer pops, bounces and sudden transitions.
Vibration feedback turns off completely.
The same phrases and tips every time — nothing unexpected or rotating.
Sound effects are softer, with no loud fanfares.
A short warning appears before any celebration video plays, so nothing comes as a surprise.
Hi, I'm Jonathan. For many years I worked as a designer and 3D artist, a good few of them in the games industry. Then my twins came along, and they changed the way I look at life.
They're now at the age where they're learning their times tables, and I wanted to help them practise for the Year 4 multiplication tables check here in the UK. I still remember learning mine by chanting them over and over, and how boring I found it. So I asked the twins to help me build something they would enjoy, and we made Maths Jumper together. Even the chanting got a rethink: they wanted to sing along with a buddy instead.
It's designed for Key Stage 1 and 2 children — roughly ages 5 to 11 — and works well for any older child who wants a calmer, pressure-free way to lock in their times tables. You can start gentle and climb the stages at whatever pace suits your child.
Yes. Every times table from 1× to 12× has its own sing-along song, free on our YouTube channel. A buddy from the game hops along the leap line as each answer is sung, and there is a quick pattern tip in the middle of every song. They work well at home or on the classroom whiteboard.
Stage 1, Training for the 1× and 2× tables, and Quick Play, Tag and Sing-along on the 1×, 2×, 5× and 10× tables are completely free — no sign-up, no credit card. Unlock Stages 2–5, all 12 times tables, the Times Tables Check and the full character crew with a single purchase. No ads, no subscription, nothing else to buy. Your purchase is covered by Google's refund policy if it turns out not to be the right fit.
Every times table from 1× to 12× — all 144 facts. A short warm-up finds the right place to start, Training teaches one table at a time, and Quick Play brings back the facts your child finds tricky until they stick. A colour-coded fact grid shows you exactly which facts your child has mastered, which they're still practising, and which they haven't met yet.
Yes. The full game includes a Times Tables Check that mirrors the real one: 25 questions from the 2× to 12× tables, 6 seconds for each, with answers typed on a number pad and three practice questions first. The grown-ups' Learning Report also shows how many facts your child can already answer inside 6 seconds.
Maths Jumper is available on Google Play for Android phones and tablets. There is no iPhone or iPad version at the moment. If you would like one, tell us at support@mathsjumper.com.
That's exactly who Calm Mode was built for. One tap in Settings turns off the countdown timer on Stages 1–4, switches off vibration, makes sounds quieter and gentler, cuts down on-screen movement, and keeps the wording the same every time — so children who find timers, buzzing or sudden movement overwhelming can focus on the maths.
We don't collect any personal data. Progress, settings and any player nicknames are saved only on your device, and the game plays offline. There are no ads, and the one optional purchase sits behind a grown-ups-only check. You can read exactly what is and isn't collected in our privacy policy.
